a dream holiday
at Lake Garda.
Jewel of the Morainic hills, Castellaro Lagusello is among the most beautiful villages in Italy and in 2011 he joined the Unesco World Heritage after the discovery of pile-dwelling sites. It's located in the town of Monzambano, just a few minutes from Sirmione and Peschiera del Garda. Its name comes from the little morainic lake next to the city walls, whose shape resembles a heart.
To see: the fortified walls dating from the XI-XII century, Villa Arrighi about 1800, St. Joseph's church about 1700, the church of St. Nicholas about 1600 and the Bell Tower. In the village there are many restaurants that offer excellent traditional dishes.
